SMS opt-in

1. On your phone, go to gotext.app.
2. Scroll to the Get texts from GoText box at the bottom of any page.
3. Enter your mobile number.
4. Check the consent box (it is never pre-checked).
5. Tap Submit. You get a confirmation text.

Consent shown on the form:

"I agree to receive recurring text messages from GoText at the number provided, including customer care, account notifications, and promotional messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency: up to 2 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. See our Privacy Policy at gotext.app/privacy and Terms at gotext.app/terms."

Group members join when they give their number to a group admin or text the group's number and ask to be added. The first message says which group added them and how to leave.

Recurring customer care, account notification and promotional messages from GoText. Group members receive messages from the group they joined. Messages may be SMS or MMS. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency: up to 2 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply HELP to any message for help, or email info@gotext.app.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You get one confirmation text and no more messages. Reply START to opt back in.
